Miami Modern + Contemporary
One Herald Plaza @ NE 14th St, Downtown Miami

Art Miami Show Group is pleased to announce the launch of Miami Modern + Contemporary (MM+C), further demonstrating Miami’s robust art market and status as a top luxury destination year-round for affluent collectors and high net-worth individuals. Miami Modern + Contemporary is scheduled to take place January 22-26, 2025 at Herald Plaza on Biscayne Bay in the spacious CONTEXT Art Miami Pavilion. The inaugural five-day fair, co-directed by Nick Korniloff and Julian Navarro, will showcase an exceptionally curated and compelling array of over 70 international galleries presenting blue chip contemporary, post-war and modern masters as well as emerging and mid-career artists from the contemporary market.

Establishing itself as the new “kick-off” fair each year, and continuing momentum from December Art Week into January (enabling galleries & dealers to capitalize on their artworks already in the US/Miami, avoiding major transportation costs), MM+C will further distinguish Miami as a leading cultural destination for acquiring contemporary art outside December Art Week, offering dealers & galleries a unique opportunity to meet new clients and reinforce relationships with collectors at the start of each new year. This fair will also attract an influential group of attendees/part-time residents that typically miss December Art Week/do not travel to Florida until closer to the Winter holidays.

A VIP Private Preview will launch the new fair on Wednesday, January 22 prior to opening to the public Thursday, January 23 thru Sunday, January 26. Preparations are underway and will include extensive community and corporate outreach, original art programming by noted curators, and exclusive VIP events—all backed by Art Miami’s top luxury brand sponsors and 35 years of experience as the city’s original and longest-running fair, further highlighting Miami's vibrant cultural scene, with its fusion of Latin American, North American, and international influences.
